Western Craft Contracting was founded in 2014 by Ray Dierolf and his wife and partner, with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, professional project management, and strong client relationships.
Ray brings decades of construction experience to Western Craft, providing a hands-on, practical approach to construction and project management that continues to guide the company today.
One of Western Craft’s greatest strengths is the team we have built. Our project managers, site supervisors, carpenters, and administrative professionals bring a wide range of experience, knowledge, and craftsmanship to every project.
We believe great projects come from having the right people in the right roles. Our team works together from pre-construction through completion, supported by a trusted network of architects, designers, engineers, skilled trades, and suppliers.
Ray remains actively involved in every project, while the depth of the Western Craft team and our long-standing industry relationships allow us to successfully manage complex and demanding builds.

Based in Roberts Creek on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, Western Craft works throughout Sechelt, Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and the Sea-to-Sky Corridor. We also take on remote and off-grid projects, including water-access properties and challenging building sites where logistics, access, power, water, and building systems require additional planning and expertise.
